The flourishing bourgeoisie of the time, eager for modernity, supported these artistic trends that there especially reflected in Architecture and Applied Arts after the Universal Exhibition in 1888.

Our 5-day private tour in Catalonia will begin and end in magical Barcelona, and we will get to know different and marvelous examples of this artistic movement in detal with the help of impresivve palaces, amazing houses, a castle, La Sagrada Familia cathedral, a huge hospital, an industrial park and other more popular buildings.

However the greatest artists of Modernism such as Lluis Domenech I Montaner, Antoni Gaudí or Eusebi Güell not only focused on this city, but also on nearby towns that resurfaced and expanded at the same time, thanks to the growth of the wine and cava industry.
