TYPE: “Crianza” Red wine selected vintage
VINEYARDS: Old vineyards located on the slopes of the Sierra de Cantabria, harvested by hand. VARIETIES: 100% Tempranillo
ELABORATION: After a gentle crushing, the must macerates in cold in contact with the skins for 48 hours to subsequently carry out the alcoholic fermentation at a maximum temperature of 28ºC, receiving slight overhauls for 8 days. Post-fermentation maceration for 48 hours and malolactic fermentation in concrete tanks.
AGING: 12 months in 70% new American oak barrels and 30% second year of French oak. Minimum of 1 year of rest in bottle until its refinement.
TASTING NOTES:
It is an elegant wine at the same time original, with intense bright cherry colour with garnet reflections. Powerful nose, with aromas of ripe red fruit perfectly assembled with vanilla, cream, fine toast and mineral notes that give a tremendous complexity that is shelled as it is aerated in the glass. Its palate is intense and elegant, its mature tannins stand out together with its spaciousness and roundness leaving a long and pleasant memory.
