Wine aging: Around 30% new barrel, 70% barrel of 1, 2 and 3 wines and aging time from 12 to 15 months.
This vineyard, with a total area of 6 ha and is characterized by the diversity of soils, gravels with presence of red clays in Castro plots, near Cacabelos and clayey in Canedo and Valtuille which are usually terroirs more late and fresh. It has 11 plots in five different districts with a privileged orientation. Since 2006 a great work of replanting and balancing the soil has been carried out. Traditional viticulture and meticulous work in the vineyard, Mencía strains of an average age of 70 years. A respectful winemaking of the terroir allows the wine to retain its identity. The fermentations take place in cement vats, the young wine is then aged in French oak barrels renewed in a quarter each year.
Massuria is a wine that stands out for the perfect balance between elegance, potency and smoothness, with all the qualities of an aging wine.
