TYPE: “Crianza” Red wine
Madremía is a red wine with D.O. Toro, made with the grape variety Toro Red grape 100% from strains over 40 years. Fermentation in stainless steel tanks. Malolactic fermentation in barrel.
TASTING NOTES
An explosion of red and black currants along with cherry provides a surprisingly fruity wine. We get this flavour thanks to fresh and sandy soils and good pre-fermentative maceration.
With patience, we have used a barrel for nine months that does not mark the wine but only helps to highlight its fruity character. Accompanied by subtle notes of cocoa and wildflowers.
After a while in the glass we observe its ruby tones and the sweetest touches of caramel and vanilla flower appear.
The palate is agile, unctuous and long drink, but with the character marked by a unique variety as is the Toro Red grape. The memories of ripe fruit in marmalade return to remain in the mouth for a long time.
