ELABORATION:
Cerro Gallina is a small and unique vineyard in 6.5 hectares glass, which has an age of 90 years, where the Bobal ink variety is cultivated by hand. With a meagre production, less than half a kilogram of grapes per vine, this exceptional wine is obtained, which offers the best of this native grape, where the varietal fruit, potency, freshness and balance in the mouth are its main features of typicality; all this combined with a long stay of 18 months in new barrels of fine grain French oak and a subsequent maturation in bottle, which end up defining their personality and uniqueness.
TASTING NOTES:
Cherry red colour very vivid and well covered.
On the nose, abundant weight of red and black fruits in season (cherry, blackberry, blueberry and redcurrant), with hints of English jam. Toasted, spicy and balsamic background, with touches of wild grass and blue flowers.
Magnificent on the palate, powerful and unctuous, round, balanced, and above all fresh, very long and rich. Perfect integration of the wood, long and aromatic finish, with a memory of caramel and milk. A splendid wine that shows the goodness of the well-worked Bobal.
