TYPE: “Crianza” Red wine
Varieties: Tempranillo and Graciano.
Elaboration: Harvesting the first week of October, with cold pre-fermentation maceration for 48 hours. Maceration for 15 days. Discover straight to French oak barrels where malolactic fermentation takes place and subsequent aging for 11 months. Bottled on November 8, 2012.
Tasting notes: Organoleptic characteristics: Clean and bright, medium-high and red-pillory colour. Medium aromatic intensity, liquorice memories, citrus and ripe fruit (quince, plum). In the mouth the entrance is delicate, with good body and structure due to the good phenolic ripening of the 2011 vintage, the presence of the oak is very discreet.
Alcohol: 13.5%
Pairing: Good companion of grilled meats, rice, table tops, etc.
Author’s recommendation: Suitable to accompany with nothing, with Goethe or with the umpteenth listening of A Love Supreme by John Coltrane. Good previous in any case.
