Characteristics:
Astrales winery has managed to produce one of the most elegant wines of the Ribera del Duero.
Astrales is made with grapes that come from small farms with vineyards of 25-80 years. The harvest is done manually. It cuts maceration and fermentation with native yeasts. Aged for 18 months in French oak barrels, renewed annually by 30%. A single racking is carried out during the malolactic fermentation and between one and two more during its aging. Clarification with egg albumin and bottling without filtering.
Tasting notes:
Visual: cherry colour, high layer, with violet tones. Clean and bright, it presents a nice dense, slow falling tear.
Olfactory: High intensity, clean and direct. The fruit (especially red) appears with many nuances: fresh, sour, ripe and even liquor. They accompany toast, lactic and mineral touches. When opened, these aromas evolve adding spicy and floral touches. Complexity and elegance
Gustative: In the mouth it is a powerful, juicy and elegant red wine. It has a silky, tasty pace, with an intense fruit load full of smoky and spicy nuances. Very good acidity and intense and mature tannic sensation. long and very persistent finish.
