TYPE: “Crianza” Red author wine
GRAPE VARIETIES S: 70% Monastrell, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Syrah
HARVEST: The grapes are collected manually in boxes of 10/15 Kg of vineyards of the property, 50 years old, low production and located at 650 meters altitude. Transported to the winery with extreme care, it is selected at the table choosing the best grapes prior to the vatted and winemaking.
VINIFICATION: The fermentation takes place in a period of 8 to 10 days, not exceeding the temperature of 28/30 ºC, the wine remains in contact with the skins in maceration, for a period between 15 and 20 days.
AGING: 24 months of aging in oak barrels 60% French oak and 40% American oak.
TASTING NOTES: Cherry red colour and intense garnet background. In the nose there are spicy aromas, complex aromas of black fruit, chocolate, toasted wood and mineral nuances. Very good structure on the palate, tasty, with ripe and sweet tannins. Presence of black fruit, balsamic, mineral and spicy tones. Long, elegant wine with good persistence.
PAIRING:ALMA DE LUZON AUTOR 24 MESES TINTO pairs with red meats, big game, cold roast beef, sirloin with foie and sauce or rolled black truffle, goose, roasted lamb, Iberian sausages, various stews, blue cheese, cured sheep and goat cheeses.
CONSERVATION AND CONSUMPTION: The appropriate temperature of consumption of this wine should be between 16 and 18ºC. In its conservation it is important that the temperature is constant around 17ºC, avoiding thermal jumps that negatively influence the quality.
